I am ame / zaq (they/them). I’m a genderqueer East-Asian Canadian artist. My curiosity for life has led me to many different avenues in life including studies in STEM, working in healthcare, and even product design. My artistic journey is largely self-driven and my motivation has always been to use art as means of connection, communication, inspiration, and expression. I also deeply believe that art and creativity is resistance. I enjoy sharing art in hopes of inspiring people to approach it with a free spirit and find their own joy in expressing themselves, unhindered from pressure.
